the puzzles are so well designed in this, and I really like the style too. At first I was expecting some of the pieces to chase me, but it was pretty easy to figure out their pattern. (also helps the levels arent too big and restart quickly). Is it possible to destroy every enemy? I was trying at first but after the double rook level couldn't get 3 of them. (1 of those 2 rooks, the queen, and the final bishop)
Thank you! And I think it's possible on every level with the exception of the last level -have been working off and on on an update for a full game that rewards getting all the pieces in the level as a challenge (also one for using less than a set par for moves)

Tho the only thing make me sad is the last lvl since in all the lvl its was possible to get rid of all chess piece.
meanwhile in last lvl it wasn't possible to get rid the bishop because when you want to land on the black spike its always when black spike retract.(it when there is no spike on the square)
My only solution is to make box come 1 turn early,then it might possible to finish do it,Again good game nonetheless and keep up the good work =)
I love chess and this game is very good! I wish there was a level select system because I accidentally left the game and came back and it reloaded so I replay and that was kinda annoying.

Love the game, but I'm going to have to quit playing, because the RESET function doesn't work. Why not just map to "r"? I got stuck on at least 3 different levels and had to reload the game, and replay the whole game just to get back to where i was.

As a Chess player, this is a really cool idea, and a very fun game. The music is great, too. One problem I'm having, though, is that on the level where the first bishop shows up, you can get softlocked. And yes, I'm aware of the restart button that's usually a bit near the top-right corner of the screen. It's not there for some reason.It usually happens on the right side of the screen. Maybe I'm just dumb and don't know what I'm doing, but I felt like saying something about it, because whenever this happens, I have to reload the entire page, which puts me all the way back at the beginning. Either way, this game is a very creative and fun idea. I haven't even beaten the game yet, and I already really like it. Very cool.
Sorry about that -I just tested it and the button worked for me -mind if I ask what browser you were using? Any other details might help too -like was it on a touch screen?
It was not on a touch screen, but I was using Firefox so that might have been part of it... I haven't tested the restart button on any other levels so it might just not work on Firefox overall
Wow, just wow, I've never played chess but this makes me interested in board games/chess in general, amazing game, good graphics, soundtrack, mechanics...

Great level of polish but it proabably needs something like a score/medal system to reward players that finish in a lower amount of move
